Stellent, Inc. announced today Crescendo™ 2006, its third annual global user conference, will be held Jan. 29 - Feb. 1, 2006 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Fla.

The four-day event will bring together hundreds of Stellent customers, partners and industry experts to discuss best practices, trends and new product developments for enterprise content management; multi-site Web content management; and governance, risk and compliance. Crescendo 2006 will provide attendees with extensive opportunities to learn more about and demo Stellent’s latest version of Universal Content Management; hear how peers are leveraging Stellent technology to reap significant return-on-investment and qualitative business benefits; and receive timely, relevant advice from Stellent experts, developers, trainers and consultants on extending their content management initiatives.

Stellent also will recognize the winners of its annual Customer Success Awards at Crescendo 2006. This award program - featuring more than 20 technology, application and industry categories - honors Stellent customers who are creating outstanding value and driving rapid success in their organizations using Stellent technology.

Conference Sessions — Stellent will feature more than 100 sessions across three customized tracks covering various product and technical topics, as well as content management and compliance best practices presentations from partners and customers, including Accenture, American Honda Motor Co., CIGNA, Emerson Process Management, Fujitsu, GlaxoSmithKline, KPMG, Malt-O-Meal, Protiviti, Rexam and many more.

Stellent Solutions Center and Partner Expo — The Stellent Solutions Center provides attendees with an opportunity to speak one-on-one with Stellent technology experts, view demos and learn more about the latest product releases in an interactive environment. Attendees also can visit the Partner Expo to learn more about technologies that complement and extend Stellent solutions.

Pre-Conference Training Workshops — Stellent is offering seven pre-conference training sessions: Records Retention and Preservation of Physical and Electronic Information; Mastering Metadata Using Rules and Profiles; Stellent Universal Content Management Workflow - From Zero to Hero in Five Hours; Stellent Site Studio Life Cycle; Stellent Business Process Management Extras; C-Index to SQL Conversion Utility (CSCU) and Advanced Print Stream Support; and an AIIM Training Course: ECM Strategy.

Keynote Speaker — On Oct. 3, 1993, while piloting a Black Hawk helicopter in Somalia, Army master aviator Michael Durant was shot down and held captive by hostile forces for 11 days. Durant’s story is the inspiration behind the movie Black Hawk Down, and his experiences are recounted in the New York Times bestseller In the Company of Heroes. At Crescendo 2006, Durant will share his first-hand account of those 11 chilling days and nights, and the life lessons he’s learned as a result.
