The product easyWCM from btexx business technologies GmbH has been awarded the SAP certificate, "Powered by SAP NetWeaver”. This certification from SAP guarantees the highest reliability, ease of use and problem-free operation of easyWCM.

easyWCM by btexx establishes the missing link between SAP NetWeaver Portal and SAP NetWeaver Knowledge Management. It allows content editors to create and edit content directly from the portal side through "In place editing” using the same roles as the end-users.

An important part of the Business Package easyWCM is the easyWCM-iView that can be placed anywhere within the SAP NetWeaver Portal framework. This iView automatically creates the necessary KM folder structures including relevant authorizations and takes care of the storage of the web content. easyWCM also uses the SAP Portal Content Studio as a tool that allows uncomplicated linking of content modules to portal navigation objects.

When a user accesses an easyWCM-iView it recognizes the authorizations of the user and either displays the content as read-only (end-user) or in editable mode (content editor). This way a content editor is able to edit content on the portal within the navigation context without leaving the portal environment. Creating a HTML web content is easy through the integrated HTML editor that allows even non-technical users to publish appealing content. easyWCM also includes about 30 ready-to-use XML-based forms to jump-start any portal project!

"Our product is both an attractive and unique solution for companies that want to enhance their SAP NetWeaver Portals with a powerful yet integrated WCMS”, says Christoph Schulz, Managing Consultant at btexx business technologies GmbH.
