e-Spirit will be present at two stands, together with partners HLP, adesso, kernpunkt, and Würth Phoenix

The Dortmund software house e-Spirit will focus its presentation at this year’s CeBIT on its certified integration of the FIRSTspirit content management system into SAP portal technology. Companies such as Bosch, EADS Headquarter, and Eurocopter have already opted for the solution, which will be demonstrated this year for the first time at two different stands: at the SAP stand (Hall 4, Stand D12) together with partner HLP Informationsmanagement, and at the e-Spirit stand (Hall 3, Stand E47) together with partners adesso AG, kernpunkt GmbH, and Würth Phoenix GmbH.

Integration into the SAP NetWeaver Portal

With FIRSTspirit, e-Spirit offers companies a powerful solution for combining portal technologies and content management. A single sign-on process is all it takes for online editors to access the familiar FIRSTspirit editing environment or to work with the easy-to-use Web client. No special SAP knowledge is necessary to create and display new navigation structures, and there is also no need to establish any additional roles or authorizations within the SAP Enterprise Portal. This certified SAP NetWeaver Portal Business Package for FIRSTspirit will be presented by e Spirit, together with partner HLP, at the SAP stand in Hall 4 (Stand D12).

FIRSTspirit CMS Technology

Future-oriented architecture, low TCO, and simple customer implementation are three of the main characteristics that make the FIRSTspirit integration platform stand out as a professional content management system. And it is also these strengths that have allowed FIRSTspirit to continue its success in the slowly consolidating CMS market, the evidence for which can be found in its numerous internationally active customers. The developer and provider e-Spirit will present the solution’s features in great detail by means of live demonstrations, practical examples, and various lectures.

Our Partner kernpunkt GmbH: e-Government Solutions

kernpunkt GmbH will present the integration and application of various sources of information for Internet and intranet projects based on the FIRSTspirit software at the e-Spirit stand (Hall 3, Stand E47). Their focus will be on customers from the public sector. In this area, the company based in Cologne is currently working with customers including the city of Offenbach, the North Rhein-Westphalia police, and the German Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth (BMFSFJ).

Our Partner Würth Phoenix: e-Learning with FIRSTspirit

The e-Learning extension from Würth Phoenix turns FIRSTspirit into a professional e-Learning authoring system. This system takes advantage of FIRSTspirit’s features, enabling any number of editors in separate company environments to easily create e-Learning content. Comfortable, expandable templates for e-Learning elements allow for the form-based creation of diverse types of exercises, including multiple choice and mapping. The system is also easily expanded or modified.

Our Partner adesso AG: Modern Portal and Application Integration

At CeBIT, adesso AG will present special application and industry portals in the fields of insurance, reinsurance, financial services, health care, and lotteries. As a consulting company and IT service provider, adesso provides for the seamless integration of core business processes using portal technologies that cover a company’s entire operations.

adesso AG is the parent company of e-Spirit GmbH and has been successfully established in the market since 1997. In closely cooperating with e-Spirit in numerous portal and other projects, it perfectly complements the joint portfolio of the network of partner companies.

22.02.2006, Marc Kleine
