Warsaw, Berlin - As the first customer in Poland, the French-Polish Bank for Social-Economic Initiatives BISE (Bank Inicjatyw Spoleczno-Ekonomicznych) has relaunched its corporate website www.bise.pl with the content management system PUBLICITY, created by the Berlin-based software company Altavier Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH.

The project has been realized in cooperation with the IT solution provider Alternativ Sp. z o. o., the Polish partner company of Altavier located in Warsaw. The CMS PUBLICITY allows for easy and quick updates of the internet presence by employees without a technical background. Thus BISE, which was founded in 1990 by the Polish Ministry of Labour and Social Policy as well as the French bank Crédit Coopératif, has created an up-to-date information platform for their high quality financial and consulting services that foster the growth of business, as well as the support of local social initiatives that develop the general society.

"In the new countries of the European Union the technical preconditions for a widespread use of the Internet are available. The number of Internet accesses is increasing. Also for SMB up-to-date websites with different types of content, which can only be administered with a content management system, are becoming more important", explains Tessen Freund, shareholder and CTO of Altavier. "With Alternativ we have found a business partner, who knows the polish market and maintains good relations to IBM customers in Poland." The CMS PUBLICITY is focused to enterprises with an IBM Lotus Domino server who prefer the web browser as their client.
