ASG, an enterprise software provider to Global 5000 companies, announced the general availability of ASG-Cypress(TM) Version 5.5, a suite of solutions that comprise a modular, integrated document assembly and delivery system. ASG-Cypress significantly enhances the management, accessibility, analysis, and distribution of myriad forms of structured and unstructured information.
ASG-Cypress Version 5.5 incorporates the following new features:
* New module to support IBM AFP™ and Xerox® Metacode inputs
* Support for Asian languages, specifically for including traditional and simplified Chinese characters
* Enhancements for document viewing and delivery tracking
This release also incorporates more than 20 client-requested projects, including:
* Simplified direct indexing of documents via CPF, ASG-Cypress' proprietary scripting language
* Improved DocuVault® partitioning support for WORM systems
* New configuration and batch release options within the Personal Imaging Module
* Enhanced handling of report and sub-report definitions within the Distribution Manager
As with all ASG-Cypress functional enhancements, these additions are designed to improve the overall user experience.
