Within the scope of the RealObjects VAR Partner Program, the Darmstadt-based CMS (Content Management System) vendor activeWeb GmbH and RealObjects GmbH have established a sales partnership. activeWeb will now offer the RealObjects Java Rich Text Client edit-on® Pro as an optional XHTML/XML What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get editor in its "contentserver” Content Management platform.

The platform independent editor from RealObjects will provide activeWeb GmbH with a useful enhancement to their own editor solution. This will provide the highest performance combination of a scaleable, highly flexible CMS and a user-friendly editor available on the market, offering medium sized and large enterprises a platform for the rapid development of high performance, complex websites.

"Our customers will certainly benefit from this partnership", said Thomas Schweitzer, Managing Director of activeWeb GmbH. "They have already come to know and appreciate the significant advantages of our software and services. As a result of our partnership with RealObjects, we will be able to offer more extensive editor functionality in the future. The strict support of the XHTML and XML W3C Standards allows the edit-on® Pro editor to be seamlessly integrated into our XML based CMS platform."

"The partnership with activeWeb promises an entry into new interesting customer areas, which will further strengthen our position in the Enterprise Content Management market", said Michael Jung, Co-founder and Managing Director of RealObjects GmbH.
