New Media Investment Group, LLC announced today the formation of Boldband, an Atlanta-based company that will specialize in mobile and broadband entertainment marketing. The agency will offer businesses all stages of planning, design and distribution of podcasts, promotional micro-sites, mobile marketing solutions, and other services designed to support and enhance online marketing initiatives already in place.
Boldband plans to create a niche by positioning itself as a marketing firm dedicated solely to a new movement in advertising called "advertainment”. "Today’s consumer can access information and media on their schedule.” stated Paul Holcomb, Chief Creative Officer. "Today’s marketing strategy should include innovative ways to acquire and maintain the attention of today’s busy consumer.
