Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Portal Adds Web Services Directory

XWebServices, Inc. announces today that it has added a Web Services Directory - http://directory.soahub.com - to SOAHub.com, an information portal dedicated to the advancement of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). By leveraging eSigma's Global Registry (http://www.esigma.com), the SOAHub.com portal will now provide a comprehensive, standards based, real-time governance solution to its visitors.
eSigma's Web Service directory, called Telos, allows organizations to publish, test and manage Web Service-based business processes. The directory enables organizations to aggregate Web Services for consumption from trading partners, internal business units and customers. Telos was developed utilizing an array of standards and technologies including UDDI, SOAP, XML and WS-Security with a W3C compliant User Interface. eSigma is set to release an Open Source version of Telos based on the Apache stack, providing a low cost and open Web Service directory.
"The hottest buzzword in the SOA space today happens to be 'governance'. Unfortunately, very few people know what it is, what it does or where to begin. The Web Services Directory we are now offering provides companies with a standards based, real-world implementation that they could use as an governance blueprint," said Cristian Sturek, Founder and Principal SOA Architect of XWebServices, Inc. 02.06.2006, XWebServices
