With PictureparkTM Eterna is optimising management and exchange of its media asset. Eterna is one of the pioneers of the Swiss watch industry.

Using Picturepark Eterna manages their pictures, ads, presentations and brochures. All media files are stored in a centralized way in the Media Asset Management system and can be accessed by all authorized employees and external users worldwide.

Fast and pro-active distribution of communication media is easily made by using the mailing functions. The integrated Publisher makes the update of intranet and websites efficient. Picturepark for Eterna is operated as an ASP solution whereby the data and application is securely hosted by Vision-IT.

Eterna is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. Eterna created the ball-bearing-mounted rotor for self-winding movements. Its five tiny spheres, which also symbolize the Eterna brand, are the undisputed global standard in automatic wristwatches. There are further milestones like the world’s very first alarm wristwatch, the smallest self-winding movement with a gold rotor and the thinnest quartz wristwatch of all times.

Eterna is another well-known name in the list of customers of Vision-IT. Picturepark, the Media Asset Management solution developed by Vision-IT, is already used by many other watchmakers like Swatch, Endura, Audemars Piguet, Hamilton, Titoni, Certina und Tissot. Picturepark has been awarded for innovation, user friendliness and market readiness and is established in the branches of industry and services.
