Aviosa, a leader in bringing innovative Web 2.0 technologies to the enterprise, today unveiled support for moblogging in Project Kung Fu, the company's flagship project management software service. Moblogging is a ground-breaking new technology that lets users publish content directly onto the Web via mobile messaging systems such as email clients, mobile cell phones and handheld PDAs. As one of the first business software companies to combine support for moblogging with more traditional forms of enterprise software and services, Aviosa has emerged as an important leader in the race to set new standards for office productivity and team collaboration using Web 2.0.

"As business becomes increasing global, users everywhere are going to look for new and creative ways to stay in touch while they are out and about, away from the home office," said Prasanth Nair, a founder of Aviosa. "Our new moblogging service gives our customers the power do just that, and it does so in a way that is simple, secure and seamlessly integrated with our existing enterprise Web services. With Project Kung Fu, keeping your project plan up-to-date is now as easy as sending an email."

Although moblogging has seen strong growth and adoption in the consumer space for the past several years, this form of communication has, until recently, been largely unavailable to users in the business software community. This is now all beginning to change rapidly as companies move to bring in blogs, wikis and other emergent forms of Web 2.0 collaboration behind their firewalls. Company officials at Aviosa simply see their support for moblogging as the next logical step in this new, emerging trend in corporate computing that M.I.T. professor Andrew P. McAfee recently dubbed "Enterprise 2.0."

"We believe that our support for moblogging really helps position us as one of the leading, definitive business software companies out there in the Web 2.0 space," continued Mr. Nair. "To our knowledge, no other project management software company is offering anything like this."

Project Kung Fu is currently being offered to the public on a Preview Release basis, with the official release of version 1.0 due later this fall. The software is designed to facilitate task and project management across all levels of business using proven workflow models, and is currently supported on the Firefox browser platform. The company intends to provide support for additional browser platforms, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, later this summer. Those who are interested are encouraged to go to http://www.projectkungfu.com and sign up for the free Personal Edition.
