Firefox "Outfoxed" by Alternative Web Browser

Mozilla Firefox has one Achilles heel. It crashes when playing many types of multimedia files. Now, an alternative web browser claims to have eliminated this problem, essentially creating "a better Firefox."

Firefox continues to gain and then lose users due to small but significant problems. While millions of people download it, many do not "keep it installed." This has happened several times so far in the life cycle of the Firefox browser. Efox is an alternative browser that builds on existing Firefox code, with one significant difference. Thanks to a major breakthrough, the eFox Web Browser is now more stable than Firefox itself for video and other multimedia.

Users of Mozilla Firefox experience browser errors on a regular basis. An error window will pop up and the Talkback Service will ask for information about the crash, for forwarding to Mozilla.

After hitting either cancel or send, the user is forced to close all active browser windows, losing any unsaved information they may have been working on.

"Having your browser "crash" or having to restart your browser is so common, that most users probably just accept it as a normal part of surfing the Internet. It is definitely not normal," says Dan McTaggart of FirefoxIE.net.

With this new version of eFox, it is possible you may never see this pop up window again or it will be extremely rare.

This makes eFox the most stable Internet Web Browser available to date on the Internet, more stable than even Internet Explorer 6 or Mozilla Firefox.

Adobe SVG is now the default SVG viewer in eFox, making it the ideal browser for web developers working on multimedia applications.

If you don't like the Vista-style theme, you can always switch back to the default Firefox theme following the instructions at the website.
