The Affiliate Summit Convention will be held January 21-23, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Affiliate Summit is presented by Shawn Collins and Missy Ward and provides the unique opportunity for affiliate marketing professionals to gather and learn from one another in a cooperative environment.

The goal of the Affiliate Summit is to create a learning environment and networking opportunity that facilitates the exchange of information about affiliate marketing issues.

Educational sessions at the Affiliate Summit will be in the following formats: debates, panel discussions, solo presentations, expert Q&A, and roundtable discussions.

Affiliate Summit will have multiple tracks targeted to affiliates and merchants, and the conference is looking for presentations that will educate and inform attendees about online marketing issues directly relevant to affiliate marketers, especially presentations on the following topics:

- Blogs & RSS
- Data feeds
- Activating and Retaining Affiliates
- Lead Generation
- E-mail
- Business Basics
- Web 2.0
- Fighting Fraud
- How to Be an Affiliate Manager
- How to Be an Affiliate
- Incentives for Affiliates
- PPC and SEO
- Badware
- How to Recruit Super Affiliates
- Segmentation of Affiliates
- Incentive / Loyalty Sites
- Growing a Mature Affiliate Program
- Tools for Affiliates/Affiliate Managers
- B2B Affiliate Marketing

If you are interested in presenting on one of these topics or another topic relevant to affiliate marketers, Affiliate Summit welcomes your submission.

Some attributes that will increase the chances of a person's proposal being accepted are: case studies with new, interesting data; nuts and bolts on how you do what you do; and advanced level content. Those with something to sell need not apply.

Affiliates and merchants will receive preference over agencies for speaking roles. Accepted speakers will be notified no later than October 1, 2006.

To submit a proposal, please visit http://www.affiliatesummit.com/speakers and complete the online application. Proposals will be accepted until September 15, 2006 -- no proposals after that date will be considered.

Presenting at Affiliate Summit is a worthwhile experience, providing a person the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences with others and giving them and their company industry recognition.

A complimentary full-conference registration is provided to speakers as well. Travel and hotel are not included.
