- Editor solution edit-on® Pro is to be integrated into Content Management System ICContent® CMS
- Enhanced user-friendliness, accessible authoring of content
- OEM partnership of both companies now officially confirmed

As a RealObjects OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Partner, ICT Solutions AG will integrate the edit-on® Pro editor solution into their Content Management System ICContent® CMS. The professional CMS is designed for enterprise level customers and is already in use at the Hessen and Rheinland-Pfalz State Administration as well as at many financial service companies such as HVB Luxembourg and Frankfurt-Trust. The internationally recognized RealObjects editor solution guarantees a high level of user friendliness and accessible content authoring. It supports the ICContent® CMS authors in the daily maintenance of web content in the Internet, Intranet and portals.

The combination of both systems makes a decisive contribution to the growing requirements of business and public administration for a user interface that is easy to operate, providing features of a normal word processor also in Web applications.

Outstanding features for a modern CMS

In contrast to other editors, edit-on® Pro can easily handle MS Word content. Copy/Paste and Drag/Drop can be done under complete control. Clean, standard compliant HTML source code is guaranteed by validation against the XHTML DTD. This prevents unwanted formatting in the CMS, regardless of whether the content was inserted via the editor's WYSIWYG or via the source view. The integrated real-time spell checker and the automatic generation of accessible content are convenient features for the authors. The new editor is available to customers in ICContent® CMS Version 5.0 and will be a permanent part of the system in the next release.

A strong partnership for even more customer satisfaction

The use of the new editor officially confirms the OEM partnership between ICT and RealObjects. "In RealObjects we have found a partner representing a similar philosophy as ICT" said Dr. Axel Kalenborn, Chairman of the Board at ICT AG. "The customer who wants to use our product quickly and conveniently is our main focus. edit-on® Pro is one of the best editors currently available in the market. The features of the system have convinced us. The integration into ICContent® CMS is another step in optimising our system to suit the needs of our customers", explained Dr. Kalenborn.

"We are pleased that ICT, as one of the leading providers of E-Business and E-Government solutions in Germany, has decided on the edit-on® Pro technology. This further improves our market position in medium-sized companies, banking and insurance, as well as in public institutions and administration", said Michael Jung, co-founder and Managing Director for Sales & Business Development at RealObjects GmbH.
