First place for CoreMedia in international CMS Benchmark Analysis 2006/2007
CoreMedia, the global provider of software solutions for convergent content business, has won top ranking in the "Usability" category of the BNP Consulting CMS Benchmark Analysis 2006/2007. After extensive testing, CoreMedia CMS was awarded first place from a field of 38 CMS systems from around the world. The award ceremony will take place today in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Since 2001, the Danish IT and management consultancy, BNP Consulting Limited, has carried out an annual comprehensive benchmark analysis of all leading CMS systems. This year's field comprised proprietary CMS solutions from 10 Danish companies and 20 international companies plus eight open-source content management systems. Systems were evaluated on criteria such as architecture, integration and security, as well as commercial aspects, workflows, personalization and, most importantly, user friendliness. In this aspect, CoreMedia was able to claim first place.
The new web 2.0 ideas and concepts demand extended features of content management systems. CoreMedia is a trendsetter when it comes to develop such innovative technologies for content management systems.
