Volantis, the world's leading supplier of Intelligent Content Adaptation(tm) solutions for the Mobile Information Age, today announced it has begun delivering the latest version of its Mobile Content Storefront(tm) to customers. Storefront is a turn-key solution that enables wireless carriers and content providers to merchandize a wide range of mobile content, optimized for more than 3,600 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile devices covering GSM, GPRS, UMTS/WCDMA and CDMA2000 wireless standards.

Volantis' latest release, Storefront 2.2, introduces personalized consumer content to enhance the value of data services and further increase revenues. With flexible purchasing options to minimize time to market and maximize return on investment, Storefront is available as either a Volantis managed service or as a licensed solution, with seamless migration between these two deployment models. Storefront has helped many of the world's leading brands - including Channel 4, the Discovery Channel, FT and Reuters -- provide the best end-user experience possible both on- & off-portal, delivering WAP and i-mode services.

"We are seeing growing demand for our services and expertise as customers anticipate new opportunities to monetize their mobile services," said Matthew Harris, Chief Executive Officer of Volantis. "Storefront is helping make our customers successful by supporting direct content sales as well as advertising, allowing them to promote their brands without compromising on the experience for consumers."

This latest generation of the Storefront application encompasses a number of significant new features, including: * End-user personalization, which allows pages to render personal information relevant to the subscriber; identifying them by first, last or nickname, gender and date of birth, and informing the consumer of their subscription status; * Comprehensive logging capabilities to assist consumers' understanding of their services more effectively and; * Subscription-based access restriction, which hides links from non subscribers to ensure better security

Volantis expects to announce further updates to Storefront in early 2007.

29.11.2006, Volantis
