Alfresco Software Inc. announced that Eye Street Software has become a Gold member in the Alfresco program and is developing the redesign of their website using Alfresco’s new Web Content Management (WCM) system.

Eye Street, headquartered in the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC, is a technology solutions firm with solid experience in both the Open Source and Content Management arenas.

"We are very excited to solidify our existing relationship with Alfresco by joining their partner program," said Malcolm Teasdale, Eye Street Software’s Director of Content Management Solutions. "Eye Street’s extensive expertise and experience with content management, in combination with Alfresco’s scalable ECM Open Source technology, will allow us to provide our mutual customers with cost effective, standards-based solutions that meet all their requirements. The Alfresco vision, products and their approach create the environment for a successful partnership."

Eye Street Software is currently developing the redesign and rebuild of the www.alfresco.com site using Alfresco’s new Web Content Management product. In addition to providing expert Alfresco consulting, integration and migration services, Eye Street will provide Alfresco WCM developer training. Alfresco is also working with Eye Street to make an Eye Street built content deployment application available in the Alfresco Enterprise Content Management suite.

"Web Content Management is a major focus for the Alfresco 2.0 release and we wanted to use our own product to create an advanced Alfresco reference site," said Dr Ian Howells, chief marketing office, Alfresco Inc. "Eye Street had access to the latest versions of Alfresco to deliver a site built using the latest WebForm Libraries, workflows and end-user productivity tools".
