Swiss solution developer Vision-IT has developed a tool for efficiently managing PowerPoint presentations on a corporate level. Picturepark Slidedesk is based on Swiss market-leading Media Asset Management solution Picturepark.
The day-to-day business world would be almost unthinkable without PowerPoint as a presentation tool. Countless presentations are produced in marketing and communication departments. The presentations are stored locally or unstructured on a file server. That usually hampers the efficient exchange and re-use of slides.
Picturepark Slidedesk addresses the increasing need for a true slide management: employees access a pool of authorized presentations in Slidedesk, can draw slides from it online, produce new presentations and download them. If within a presentation e.g. the slides with the enterprise’s quarterly results change all presentations using this slides are also updated and owners are notified through Slidedesk.
