SDL International is teaming up with Tridion to create modern web content management with efficient language delivery that can drive business advantage on a global basis.
According to the two firms, the result will see a seamless capability to enable corporations to author content once, translate once and re-use across all web requirements in marketing, sales and customer support in any language.
Organizations can efficiently re-use multi-lingual assets whilst any requirement for additional multi-lingual content is automatically delivered into the translation supply chain for instant publishing across the web.
"In today’s business climate, corporations face increasing competitive pressure from across the world," said Mark Lancaster, CEO of SDL. "Language has become the competitive battleground for companies wanting to win market-share on a global basis. SDL provides the technology to manage the complex activities through the translation supply chain, which are essential to get content into multiple languages. Tridion provides the front end management of the content creation. Together our technology provides companies with the ability to truly manage global content, providing True Global Information Management, allowing companies to reach global audiences in ways previously impossible."
"It is clear that both SDL and Tridion share a common vision," continued Pieter Varkevisser, CEO of Tridion. "Corporations want integrated solutions that help them to market effectively across the globe and this requires modern web-content management combined with efficient global language delivery. With Tridion’s expertise in global Web Content Management and SDL’s efficient delivery of multi-lingual assets, we have established a peerless combination."
