Open Text Corporation, independent provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software and solutions, today announced that Viega, the Germany-based manufacturer of plumbing and heating technology products, has chosen to implement RedDot to manage and deliver content for its international Web sites, Intranet and an Extranet.

The advantages for Viega are RedDot’s ease of use and personalization functions and that it can be integrated with Viega's deployments of Open Text Livelink ECM and SAP Enterprise Portal.

"We are very impressed by RedDot for efficiently managing multilingual content for the Web. Combining RedDot with Open Text and SAP, we will be able to further improve our information processes for the benefit of our customers, business partners and staff," said Michael Nippel, Strategic Head of IT/CIO at Viega.

"We are very pleased to have won Viega as a customer. Our strategy of being as open as possible to third party systems has proven to be the right one. The integrated use of our Web solutions, and in this case SAP and the Open Text portfolio, provide considerable scope for more targeted use of company information," said Daniel Kraft, CEO of RedDot, The Open Text Web Solutions Group.
