Integrated Solution Protects Intellectual Property Assets and Improves Compliance Processes for Leading Enterprise Content Management Platform

Surety, LLC, a provider of data integrity solutions, today announced an exclusive technology partnership with SRC Solutions, a Xerox business partner. The alliance focuses on the integration of Surety’s AbsoluteProof digital time-stamp solution with the Xerox DocuShare enterprise content management (ECM) solution to enable SRC’s customers to protect their intellectual property, defend their electronic evidence in litigation and comply with regulatory mandates by proving that their electronic records have never been tampered.

The integration of Surety’s AbsoluteProof service into the Xerox DocuShare platform provides an electronic document solution that offers an independent, third-party means of validating the date and time of generation as well as the integrity of any electronic record within the system. Surety's AbsoluteProof is the only available time-stamping method that offers long-lasting protection, provides objective proof of record integrity independent of a company’s people, processes and systems, and complies with domestic and international standards. The AbsoluteProof timestamp service is compatible with any file format.

"With more than 93 percent of all corporate data being created electronically, organizations now more than ever have a much greater obligation to ensure that their electronic records are secured in their original state without being altered," said Tom Klaff, CEO, Surety, LLC. "The AbsoluteProof service gives customers the ability to have true third-party validation of their electronic assets while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and security. The goal of our exclusive partnership is to significantly increase the value proposition for SRC’s customer base."

The integration of Surety’s AbsoluteProof service into Xerox Docushare will enable SRC’s customers to easily identify records that have been altered or tampered during any stage of the business process. The combined solution prepares Xerox DocuShare customers for litigation, where the integrity of electronic evidence must be established; external audits related to Sarbanes-Oxley and other federal regulations; and security initiatives around the transport of high-value data within business processes that extend outside the enterprise.

"Creating a module for AbsoluteProof with the Xerox DocuShare platform is a natural fit for SRC," said Patrick Maher, president, SRC Solutions, Inc. "The integration provides additional functionality and immediate value for our customers who have been seeking independent, third party validation to help protect intellectual property assets and to meet compliance requirements."
