The focus of this year’s Pironet NDH CeBIT exhibit is on customer self-service solutions and innovations in the area of content management for SAP Netweaver portals. In addition, Pironet NDH demonstrates how companies can benefit from Web 2.0 approaches in their daily business.

Customer self-services

In order to cut costs and further optimize customer service, more and more companies are setting up self-service areas on the Internet for their customers. With its Enterprise Self Service Architecture (ESSA), Pironet NDH has lowered the investment required for applications of this kind. ESSA combines the management of product data and business processes within a single user interface: "The ESSA desktop automatically provides product managers, for example, all the tools and information they need to design ordering sites for new products,” explained Ulf Adebahr, Pironet NDH board member. "Web services supply them with master data and product information.” Processes that previously required manual input, such as responding to a customer query, can be automated using ESSA, with high service quality. The technical basis for these solutions is provided by the pirobase product family. Pironet NDH is demonstrating the technology at its main exhibit stand in Hall 3, D33.

Web 2.0 and Second Life for companies

Pironet NDH is also presenting solutions within the context of Web 2.0 that enable companies to organize the exchange of information within the framework of communities, for example with the help of weblogs. Further useful features include the numerous Web 2.0 functions such as RSS feeds and tag clouds which bring fast productive benefits.

Also at this year’s CeBIT, interested companies can participate in a raffle for a "Second Life Start-up Package” in Hall 3, Stand 33, and take advantage of a special offer to evaluate with the help of Pironet NDH consultants when and how a Second Life presence would make sense for their company.

Content Management for the SAP Netweaver portal

At its SAP partner stand (Hall 4, Stand D12) Pironet NDH is demonstrating service-oriented content management for the Netweaver user community. This approach makes it possible to combine the SAP portal solution with a content management system for Intranet authors, the pirobase Enterprise Content Studio, or expand the SAP portal solution using pirobase CMS.
This ECM system has been certified by SAP for SAP Netweaver and enables company-wide administration of unstructured information. The relevant CMS functions are provided by Pironet NDH as services for the Netweaver environment.
