Edentity, an Toronto-based Web technology solutions firm, launched the new version of Agility Content Management System. The enhancements include: an improved user guide; updated sitemap icons; content list enhancements, simplified content definitions, workflow enhancements and performance enhancements.

"Our client base grew exponentially last year," says Jonathan Voigt, Director of Technology for Edentity, "We want our clients to know that they are getting the best service out there and that we are committed to delivering the exceptional service they are used to. Getting Agility CMS 2.3 out is important for us to continue to deliver the highest quality to our customers."

Joel Varty, Director of Research and Development at Edentity and lead developer on the Agility CMS upgrade believes Agility CMS 2.3 will improve the efficiencies of marketing and development departments for Agility CMS subscribers. "The simple functionality and user-friendly interfaces of Agility are meant to simplify the jobs of people who aren’t very tech-savvy," he said recently, "In turn, it will ease the burden of overworked developers and designers in the same companies."

All of Edentity’s current Agility CMS clients have been upgraded to the new version. "The upgrade was simple, with no interruption to their service," said Voigt, "Our clients have been using the new version since its launch and enjoy all the benefits that come with it. So far we've had nothing but rave reviews." All new clients subscribing for the first time will be automatically put on Agility 2.3.

Demos of Agility 2.3 can be requested at the Agility Web site www.agilitycms.com. "We’re not done yet," says Varty, "We’re already working on Agility CMS 3.0 which promises to be revolutionary upgrade."
