Combined On-Demand Solution Helps Manage Key Sales Processes, Reduce Time to Close and Increase Management Visibility

SpringCM, provider of on-demand content management solutions, announced SpringCM for Salesforce.com, available through AppExchange. The combined solution integrates the leading on-demand document management platform at critical touch points in the sales process, helping joint customers accelerate revenue, be more efficient in the sales process and win more business.

SpringCM for Salesforce.com includes Contract Accelerator and Proposal Accelerator, which allow sales professionals to collaborate on RFPs, contracts and orders, and submit contracts to an approval workflow directly from within an account or opportunity record. In addition, SpringCM allows for tailored delivery options including fax and postal mail-on-demand.

"As a global organization, closing contracts efficiently and on time is a major concern for us, and solutions like the SpringCM Contract Accelerator for Salesforce.com are important tools for improving our contract management process," said Joe Graves, chief information officer at Stratus Technologies, a Salesforce.com customer.

"By automating the contract generation, negotiation and review cycle directly from within Salesforce.com, the SpringCM solution gives sales executives a new level of visibility and control over the process. We especially like how the solution operates both within Salesforce.com, where it is accessed by sales executives, but also from its own Web interface -- extending the contract automation process to corporate legal, finance and compliance executives who may not be Salesforce.com users. Unlike other solutions that we evaluated, the SpringCM solution focuses on getting from a draft to final approved contract -- and that is the most challenging part of the process for companies like ours."

A standard SpringCM subscription includes a scalable and secure document repository for any file type, complete with full enterprise search and embedded OCR, and a full suite of tools to collaboratively create, edit, update and publish documents and make them accessible anywhere in the world. Automated document processing, document scanning and conversion, and hardware solutions are also available.

"AppExchange makes useful applications available to customers in a completely no-hassle way, and dramatically changes the ways that applications can be combined to deliver greater value," said Christine Mason, founder of SpringCM. "Through AppExchange, customers who are Salesforce.com users can now access all their critical information in the context of their task, while offering enterprise-wide visibility to people who need to see content, but are not Salesforce.com users."
