Vamosa, a service provider in content processing, analysis, and migration, is to enter the e-Discovery market with the launch of a new platform, ‘Themis’.

Themis will be the first platform of its kind in the e-Discovery market. The unique platform has been designed to complement existing offerings from e-Discovery and ECM vendors while filling the gaps in this highly componentized market. Through the use of Themis, organizations will, for the first time, be able to operate an end-to-end e-Discovery solution.

The platform will leverage Vamosa’s powerful rule based content processing engine and come with several solutions aimed at facilitating and enhancing an organizations e-Discovery practices. Employing the content processing capabilities of the Vamosa engine, Themis will present organizations with substantial cost and time savings in preparation for a litigation hold, and after the hold procedure has taken place, when all relevant content has to be produced.

The decision to enter the e-Discovery market is seen as the next logical step in the evolution of Vamosa. As George Knox, CEO at Vamosa, highlights, "The issues raised by e-Discovery are in many respects similar to what we have been doing so well up until now. Organizations have to quickly, intelligently, and transparently process content so that should a litigation hold situation arise they can respond in a timely and cost-effective manner."

"The launch of Themis will allow organizations to do just that, and as a result substantially reduce the costs involved in the e-Discovery process."

Recently named as a Cool Vendor in Content Management by leading technology analysts Gartner, Vamosa look set to continue at the forefront of the Enterprise Content Management community with this latest announcement. Vamosa is pre-viewing Themis at the Gartner Portal’s Content and Collaboration Summit in Orlando from the 19th to the 21st of March.
