Enterprise content management software firm Interwoven Inc is ready to release an enhanced version of its Collaborative Document Management software at the end of this month.

Interwoven's latest CDM platform, which includes the WorkSite MP Microsoft desktop integration product, helps companies to facilitate team-based collaboration over documents and other unstructured content.

CDM's content integration and meta-tagging (categorization) modules have both been enhanced. Content integration now uses both metadata and events to automate taxonomies and publishing.

Interwoven, which is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, has enhanced its Ajax-based WorkSite MP software. The new version adds support for rich multimedia data and tightens up integration with Microsoft's Office and Outlook, and IBM Lotus systems.

Interwoven has streamlined implementation of CDM with smoother integration with enterprise systems and processes.

Support for Microsoft Office 2007 and Vista for WorkSite MP will be available at the end of June this year.

Interwoven Collaboration and Document Management is part of a broad suite of content management products for content distribution, email management, web content management, records management, imaging and content integration.

23.03.2007, Interwoven, Inc.
