US Expansion and Growth in European Market Share Drive Strong Results

Tridion, global provider of Web Content Management (WCM) software solutions, announced that the company achieved record-setting financial results in 2006. Revenue growth continued to accelerate from 2005 and profitability hit record levels, with revenues topping EUR 21M and net profitability reaching EUR 5.2M, representing a net margin of 25%. With these excellent results, Tridion confirms its position as the most profitable vendor in the enterprise class best of-breed WCM sector, a market Gartner Group estimates to be experiencing "double digit growth.”

Tridion’s primary revenue growth drivers in 2006 were the significant expansion in the US market as well as market share growth across Europe. The company’s focus on enabling customers to deliver consistent, yet highly targeted customer experiences in multiple languages across multiple Web sites and channels lead to significant global customer expansion. Tridion was the fastest growing enterprise class WCM vendor in the US market last year. In addition to the impressive revenue and profitability figures, cash holdings increased to EUR 13.8M at year-end 2006 and Tridion confirms that it has no short-term or long-term debt.

"Tridion’s overwhelming success in 2006 points to the strength of our software solutions and team, and is a clear indication that the Web Content Management market is showing renewed momentum,” said Pieter Varkevisser, CEO of Tridion. "We look forward to more success in 2007, as we increase our investments in global expansion and broaden our product portfolio. From the opening of a second US office in San Francisco to our efforts to strengthen Tridion’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region, we are confident that our plans for this year will further solidify our role as a leader in WCM.”

Also notable was Tridion’s addition of a substantial number of new customers to its roster in 2006, particularly in the Financial Services, Electronics & High Tech, Travel & Tourism and Government & Non Profit sectors. New customers include Spandex, Nobel Biocare, Youth Hostel Association, British Dental Association, breastcancer.org, Kaiser Permanente, Sodexho Alliance, IBS and SDL. Many existing customers also extended their Tridion installations, including Rabobank, Toyota, Honda, Canon, VisitBritain, National Bank of Poland, ING Real Estate, ABP, France Telecom and Ricoh.
