Vision-IT Ltd. introduces a new license model for its Media Asset Management Software PictureparkTM. Read-only users, who can search and download data, are now availably in unlimited numbers. By introducing this model, the corporate-wide usage of Picturepark shall be facilitated.

By this May Vision-IT charges only those users, who can import and edit brochures, presentations or videos in Picturepark. Standard users, who can search and download the files, are no longer charged. This new model ensures a high cost transparency and facilitates corporate-wide usage of Picturepark considerably.

Besides introducing unlimited standard users, Vision-IT launches a new ASP hosting model. With "ASP Flatrate", Picturepark can be run as rented software, where no licence fees incur. "ASP Flatrate clearly meets the needs of our fast growing international clientele", says Bruno Jehle, CEO of Vision-IT. "Software shall be increasingly offered as ASP- or SaaS-Solutions without any licence payments.”

Together with the new license models Vision-IT also launches new features such as Picturepark Slidedesk for corporate-wide exchange of PowerPoint slides. Detailed information on Picturepark™ is available online (www.picturepark.com).
