E.ON is now managing and distributing its media data with Picturepark of Vision-IT. Thus, an efficient communication with employees and external dialogue groups can be ensured. E.ON is one of the largest energy service providers world-wide.

E.ON decided in favour of Picturepark in spring 2007. It took only three weeks to implement the Media Asset Management solution and to equip the server with files. Media data such as images can now be retrieved locally by authorised employees and external dialogue groups. E.ON Picturepark is operated as an ASP (Application Service Providing)/Saas (Software as a Service) in the server centre of Vision-IT in Switzerland. The company has a long-standing experience in the fields of prepress, electronic image manipulation, programming, standardization of media data and Application Service Providing (ASP).

E.ON is another well-known customer of the Swiss solution provider Vision-IT. Picturepark is used by leading companies such as Siemens, Swatch, Rieter, Siegfried and Swisslog.
