Manufacturer of the FIRSTspirit CMS wants to actively enter new markets
The Dortmund-based software house e-Spirit opened a subsidiary in Switzerland on 1 June 2007. e-Spirit is the producer of FIRSTspirit, the content management system for international corporate groups and medium-sized businesses. The company used the ITC trade fair, Orbit-iEX, which this year was held from 22-25 May in Zurich, as a platform to present itself and its product to the Swiss market.
Jörn Bodemann, CEO of e-Spirit, explains the reasons for making the step into the neighboring country: "We have already succeeded in gaining many Swiss-based customers in the past, including Schweizerische Industriegesellschaft SIG and Würth Phoenix Switzerland. Now, we want to actively enter the market and systematically expand our customer portfolio.”
New Country Manager, Markus Hümbeli, is the person in charge on the spot. Having graduated in Business Administration, he previously worked as Key Account Manager for IBM Switzerland and Regional Sales Manager for Mercury Switzerland. He will now coordinate the FIRSTspirit license business and e-Spirit’s professional services from the new business premises in Zurich.
