E-learning platform OLAT integrates Picturepark
E-learning platform OLAT is used at various academies providing students all around the world with e-learning lessons via Internet. Through OLAT, students also have access to images, illustrations and videos stored in Picturepark since June 2007. Therefore, Picturepark is linked with the OLAT Editor allowing to publish Picturepark resources at any desired place in the lesson.
Through periodic synchronisation between OLAT and Picturepark, the subject matter is kept up-to-date without the need for manual uploading into OLAT. Thus, educational institutes can serve students with e-learning lessons fast and easily. All media resources such as images and videos are managed using the central Media Asset Management solution Picturepark.
Integration of Picturepark into OLAT was executed on behalf of the Swiss Centre for Education in Health Care (ZAG) by companies Frentix and Vision-IT. Picturepark is used by leading companies like Siemens, Swatch, Rieter textile systems, Siegfried and Swisslog. 21.06.2007, Lukas Häusermann
