Suva is newly using Picturepark of Vision-IT. Using Picturepark you can efficiently manage and easily exchange media assets such as images, multimedia files or brochures. Until now Suva was used to use Image Finder for its image administration.

Swiss Accident Insurance Fund (Suva) decided in favour of Picturepark in the early summer 2007. As Image Finder didn’t ensure system support in Switzerland anymore, a new solution had to be procured. Using Picturepark, employees can access the latest images and documents via Intranet. In a second step the system could be opened for external users too. This is easily possible thanks to the differentiated authorisation management of Picturepark.

Furthermore, Picturepark offers the possibility to directly publish documents on Suva’s website through its web-publishing function.

Suva is another well-known customer of Swiss solution provider Vision-IT. Picturepark is used by leading companies such as Siemens, Swatch, Rieter, Siegfried and Swisslog.

As the most important carrier of obligatory accident insurance, Swiss Accident Insurance Fund (Suva) insures over 1,8 million employees against occupational and non-occupational accidents as well as against work-related illnesses.

28.08.2007, Lukas Häusermann
