The e-Spirit Company GmbH became a PLC
We did this to build on the growth strategy of the previous years and to ensure that sustainable product development and business performance will also be continued in future. In addition to the increased sales figures, we were also able to expand our staff by ten percent in 2006. Altogether, more than 20 companies, many of which are listed on the stock exchange, chose FirstSpirit as their content management platform last year. This positive development did already continue in the first half of 2007. The other advantages that we are expecting to benefit from in connection with the change in legal structure are explained by Jörn Bodemann, CEO of e-Spirit AG: "Changing the corporate form of the company will positively influence the financial flexibility needed for developing our business. The truth is that our national as well as international business relationships have developed keenly, especially in the previous year. The new legal structure will help us to reinforce this trend and all associated activities.” Jörn Bodemann has been the managing director of the company since the founding of The e-Spirit Company GmbH. The credentialed IT professional is still responsible for the business areas of sales, corporate communications, professional services as well as product development and business performance. Christoph Junge, the second member of the management board, is in charge of finance and legal matters. The credentialed industrial engineer is also on the management board at the Dortmund-based IT consulting company adesso AG, the holding company of e-Spirit. Michael Kenfenheuer, member of the management board at adesso AG, was appointed chairman of the supervisory board and second executive officer of The e Spirit Company GmbH. 11.10.2007, e-Spirit AG
