Measurement and control technology / Intranet solution based on SAP NetWeaver Portal
Endress+Hauser (E+H) will create a group-wide employee portal technically based on the SAP NetWeaver Portal, FirstSpirit and the SAP Business Package for FirstSpirit. The globally operating measuring instrument and automation solution supplier wants to use the portal to provide information to its 7,000 employees in a personalised manner, according to individual requirements. Internal users will additionally be able to access applications and operations quickly and easily. E+H InfoServe’s project managers will be supported by IT service provider HLP as well as CMS manufacturer E-Spirit.
Jürgen Schrempp from E+H InfoServe says: "We are launching a powerful employee portal that functions as a personalised, user-centred information, communication and operations platform to meet the demands of each individual employee. In keeping with our SAP IT strategy, we have decided on the FIRSTspirit Content Management System, seamlessly integrated into the SAP NetWeaver Portal. Together with HLP from Eschborn, Germany, we are relying on a service provider extremely experienced in SAP integration and the Business Package for FirstSpirit to optimally integrate the decentralised editing system in the portal.”
The SAP NetWeaver technology platform and individual SAP NetWeaver add-on solutions are becoming more and more valuable for leading companies. HLP recognised this trend years ago and made a name for itself in the design, project management and implementation of SAP NetWeaver projects in different sectors. Alongside Endress+Hauser, customers such as EADS, Fresenius, Heraeus, Knorr-Bremse, Merck, Radeberger, SIG Information Technology and MVV AG trust in Eschborn’s expertise.
