For CeBIT 2008, Pironet NDH is showcasing new content management solutions that facilitate the detailed administration and highly personalised output of content as well as easy integration into business scenarios. The new release, pirobase CMS 7, which is being showcased for the first time at CeBIT, is characterised by its simplified operation and improved potential for integration with regard to service-oriented architectures (SOA). Specially designed for use in SAP Netweaver portals, Pironet NDH presents cost-efficient CMS solutions which remove the need to develop a CMS infrastructure separate from the portal. As a further trade fair innovation, Pironet NDH will be presenting the pirobase Knowledge Management solution, which focuses on user- and process-driven knowledge management in companies.

CMS platform strengthens usability and SOA integration

During the further development of pirobase CMS, Pironet NDH has made improved user-friendliness and a high potential for integration with regard to service-oriented architectures (SOA) a priority. The core of the new release, pirobase CMS 7, which features the "Smart Editor" and "Smart View" content instruments, is an even quicker and more flexible input and/or representation of web content. Furthermore, pirobase CMS 7 can be integrated more simply and more deeply into SOA architectures.

Certified content management for SAP NetWeaver Portals

Pironet NDH presents two CMS solutions to the Netweaver user community, with which the portal solution from SAP can be supplemented to include effective CMS functions with a convenient personalisation and authorisation concept. In addition to the Enterprise Content Studio, which offers easy editing functionality inside the portal, Pironet NDH offers pirobase CMS certified for SAP Netweaver, which also allows unstructured information to be administered in group-wide portals.

CMS goes Web 2.0: User- and process-driven knowledge management

With its pirobase Knowledge Management solution, Pironet NDH is positioning itself at CeBIT in the field of knowledge management - a field that is becoming increasingly important to companies. pirobase offers a tool-based solution for organising, saving, providing and reproducing know-how across a company. Service advisors on customer or employee hotlines, for example, can use the solution as an effective knowledge database for assistance in helpdesk calls, thereby optimising problem solving times.

The Knowledge Management is founded on the successful pirobase CMS, which provides role and authorisation-based editing options alongside Web 2.0 functionality and convenient and quick search mechanisms. In this way, it facilitates user- and process-driven knowledge management and the deep integration into companies´ system environments and processes.

The main stand of Pironet NDH at CeBIT is located in Hall 3, Stand D33.

27.02.2008, Pironet NDH
