SDL Tridion, a leading global provider of Web Content Management (WCM) software solutions and a division of SDL, the leader in Global Information Management (GIM), today announces it has signed a formal partnership with Nedstat, European leader in web analytics. The partnership includes an integrated tag management approach for SDL Tridion R5.3 and Sitestat, the core web analytics product of Nedstat. The integrated web analytics software is called the ‘Sitestat Enabler’.

The signed partnership follows from SDL Tridion’s strategic focus on Interactive Marketing where understanding customers’ online behavior is crucial. Erik Aeyelts Averink, President Product & Solutions SDL Tridion: "SDL Tridion provides the solutions to deploy and manage multiple Web sites. We offer our customers easy management, lower TCO, and brand consistency for their multiple Web sites and online channels. The Sitestat Enabler brings immediate benefits to joint customers using the power of Modular Templating in R5.3. We have built template building blocks for the various tags of Nedstat.

For these global businesses knowing how Web visitors behave forms the basis of effective management of the online marketing process. By including the various tags of Nedstat in our content management system we allow joint customers to easily drag and drop web analytics code or page tagging directly into the content management templates.”
The tag management capability of Sitestat Enabler saves organizations time and costs in integrating and maintaining tags, whilst the business user benefits from the decreased time to market for understanding customer behavior over Web sites.

Aeyelts Averink: "SDL Tridion’s Web Content Management System enables businesses to control their brand worldwide and convey their message consistently to a global audience through the right channels and in the local language. By making Web site analytics straightforward and accessible, Nedstat enables users to improve the effectiveness and profitability of their online communication. This partnership and the integrated software is a perfect bridge between Web Content Management and online marketing management.”

Michael Kinsbergen, CEO of Nedstat; "With SDL Tridion’s new Sitestat Enabler, implementation time of the Sitestat code and error possibilities are brought down to a minimum. Online Managers have almost immediate access to the detailed online behavior reports of their customers, prospects and other visitors.”
The Sitestat Enabler will be provided to joint customers free of charge and will become available for download via the SDL Tridion Forum shortly
