Germany is cooking - and not merely because of the summer temperatures! TV cooks are claiming record viewing ratings and, according to a poll by the market research company GfK, some 80 percent of Germans say they like to cook. The rice experts at Oryza are clearly aware of current trends and are offering content on their new website, www.oryza.de, which goes beyond cut-and-dry product information using TV commercials and video clips employing a modern mixture of information and entertainment - or "infotainment." The technical basis for the new website is the Web Content Management System you@web from the Hennef company CONET Solutions GmbH. The design and concept were provided by Hamburg advertising agency and CONET sister company oysterbay.

The new website flanks Oryza’s current advertising campaign. The Hamburg rice specialists are offering three tasty recipes with rice in their new Cuisine Creative product line, which will make it easy for cooking enthusiasts to conjure up creative rice dishes. Alongside TV commercials, the innovative website is also presenting ideas from creative chefs in moving images in the form of video clips produced by professional as well as amateur cooks. "Multimedia presentation per se is nothing new,” explains Dr. Martin Kabath, Head of Products & Sales at CONET Solutions GmbH, "but thanks to the total integration between content and media management attained through us, its implementation has been enormously simplified. Videos can now be incorporated into the web and updated as quickly as texts.”

Alongside extensive web know-how for the sophisticated and attractive integration of media files, CONET provides the technical solution with the you@web Content Manager 8.0. The current release of the Web Content Management System in connection with the new you@web Extended MediaBase as a so-called Media Asset Management (MAM) tool facilitates a smooth and easy integration of digital media elements, such as videos, music and animated presentations, into the Internet.
