Infoteam, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has introduced a completely new marketing concept including a new website using the fully Microsoft.NET based Business Content Management System contentXXL. The website (www.infoteam.ch) is a showcase for Infoteam’s broad IT expertise. It features modules providing a newsletter, news, translations, visitor statistic tool, and much more. The easy integration of other Microsoft.NET products was the main reason Infoteam chose the CMS by contentXXL International GmbH.

"As a contentXXL International GmbH partner the choice of the Business Content Management System contentXXL was obvious to us", explained Fredy Martuccio, Web Developer Engineer. "We wanted our website to show customers the quality of the products we can provide for them. To do this we tried to include as many modules as possible. The main advantage of using contentXXL for this project was the fact that it is a totally Microsoft.NET based product which meant we were able to integrate a variety of custom-made modules" continued Martuccio. "The use of specific plug-ins has created some great effects. This helped us to achieve a clean, simple, graphical website which provides a better understanding of our company structure. We were looking forward to make our image far more professional and we certainly feel we have achieved this with our new website."

The seventy page website took three weeks to construct and was worked on by 3 editors. Specific plug-ins were used, including Mootools which meant enlarged pictures could be produced using only JavaScript and Ajax without the need for Flash Effect. The website also provides those wishing to visit Infoteam’s office with an integrated location map under Google Maps as well as the possibility to obtain train times from the SBB, Swiss Federal Railways. Other plug-ins not already included can easily be added. Infoteam created its website in both French and German; an English version is planned for next year as well as a customer Blog.

"Our website was greeted with enthusiasm at its launch", commented Fredy Martuccio. "We received many compliments from our customers on the clarity and attractiveness of our new web presence. We are certainly glad to be able to work with contentXXL International GmbH and use their flexible CMS contentXXL, which integrates easily and cost-effectively with other Microsoft.NET products", concluded Martuccio.
