Intranets Live - the world’s first interactive Intranet Media Channel

Intranets Live is a new online programme that will bring the world’s best intranets live to the desktops of intranet managers around the globe.
Managing an intranet can be a lonely business! Daily work typically offers little chance of interacting with other intranet people and hardly ever the opportunity to see great intranets of other organizations.
With Intranets Live, everyone interested in intranets, employee portals and information workplaces will have the opportunity to get insights into some of the world’s most advanced intranets, gain knowledge from acclaimed intranet experts and exchange ideas with intranet teams from around the globe on a regular basis.
Intranets Live builds on the phenomenal success of IBF 24, the 24-hour online intranet innovation conference that took place in June 2008. At IBF 24, more than 700 intranet professionals from 25 countries came together virtually to experience live intranet case studies, online discussions and expert talks.
Building on that very concept, Intranets Live will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning November 4th. In just 2 hours - and without any travel time or cost - intranet managers will be updated on all relevant developments in intranet space and have a chance to experience global best practice in intranets. Today, even before its launch, the Intranets Live community already consists of 200 intranet professionals from around the world.
Episode one of Intranets Live will feature:
- live intranet tour by Kellogg's
- interview with workplace tech guru Shiv Singh from Avenue A Razorfish in New York
- a day in the life of an intranet manager
- TechWatch feature on using Twitter for business
- interactive sessions, such as bringing your intranet problems forward to the Intranet Doctor
Intranets Live is brought to you by the Intranet Benchmarking Forum (http://www.ibforum.com), the world's leading intranet and portal benchmarking group.
Free guest passes are available for the first episode of Intranets Live. See http://www.intranetslive.com/ for further information and registering online. 13.10.2008, Stephan Schillerwein, Intranet Benchmarking Forum (IBF)
