Wardynski & Partners to deploy MindServer Search to provide lawyers with quick access to information

Recommind, a provider of enterprise search, email management and eDisclosure solutions for enterprises and law firms, today announced that top two Polish law firm Wardynski & Partners, has selected Recommind’s MindServer Search solution. The new solution will enable the firm’s 250 employees across its offices in Warsaw, Wroclaw and Brussels to search and access both internal and external information sources.

Wardynski initially evaluated several solutions, but only Recommind was able to provide the expected product together with the top quality implementation services. The firm was very impressed with the MindServer solution’s performance, in terms of speed and quality of results and ease of use, as well as with the responsiveness and support provided by Recommind. Recommind also provided Wardynski with customised features such as filtering by categories from DMS and categories normalization between the data sources.

Recommind’s MindServer Search solution will integrate with the firm’s existing data repositories, including Document Management System, and will also provide access to the external legal knowledge service-. The full deployment began this month and should be completed by the end of March.

"Nowadays, to exceed clients' expectations and to excel in operations management, any business, particularly, a professional services firm, needs to invest in state-of-the-art technology tools. There are already several law firms in the market which build their competitive advantage on using technology", said Tomasz Wardynski CBE, presiding partner at Wardynski & Partners. "This is why we decided to seriously develop knowledge management, of which the search system is a crucial element. We looked at a number of solutions, but Recommind's seemed best for our needs, and we weren’t wrong. The pilot went extremely well and we were impressed with Recommind’s quick responses - it has proved to be a very productive and efficient working relationship."

"All law firms need to take control of their information," said Simon Price, UK director at Recommind. "Wardynski & Partners regards its new Recommind Mindserver Search system as an integral part of their knowledge management strategy. It enables the firm to combine the use of their controlled knowledge repository with the "work in progress" documents as well as external web sources that are relevant to their lawyers. By doing so the firm has taken the necessary steps to remain at the top of its game and to ensure a more productive working environment for its lawyers."
