FatWire Launches Rescue Program for Vignette and Interwoven Web Content Management Customers

No-Cost Licenses and Proven Migration Tools Provide a Lifeline and Path Forward for Customers of Legacy Vendors
FatWire Software today announced the launch of the FatWire Rescue Program for Vignette and Interwoven legacy Web Content Management (WCM) customers. The program enables customers of these recently acquired companies to upgrade to FatWire’s industry-leading solutions at no license cost, when they employ FatWire’s proven migration tools and services that reduce the risk and increase the speed of migration.
The web is the most effective and efficient vehicle today for engaging with customers and prospects to drive business growth while controlling costs. As websites grow in complexity and scale - and audiences increasingly demand personalized content and a rich and interactive online experience - a robust platform becomes a necessity to cost-effectively manage the web experience. This limited-time program enables organizations that are constrained by the rigidity of their current legacy WCM products, or concerned about the future direction of their current WCM vendor, to upgrade to the leading web experience management platform from FatWire.
"With the uncertainty surrounding the future of the legacy WCM products, we have seen increasing demand for our market-leading solutions," said Yogesh Gupta, president and CEO of FatWire. "Since we’ve already helped numerous customers around the world to upgrade successfully from these products to our next generation platform, we are confident that providing an opportunity to do so at lower cost, reduced risk, and with accelerated delivery, will add tremendous value for organizations."
FatWire’s solutions enable customers to easily and effectively manage the entire Web Experience Management process, including: creative collaboration for content creation; easy content editing and formatting of web pages and sites; personalization, segmentation and targeting of content; analysis of content effectiveness; efficient and large-scale delivery across multiple sites in multiple languages; and web communities for improved engagement.
To speed the upgrade to FatWire solutions, the company has partnered with Vamosa and Kapow to provide migration tools and services. Vamosa, a leader in Enterprise Content Quality, is working with FatWire to provide its Content Migrator for Web software and services, plus its wealth of expertise, to reduce the upgrade risk and dramatically improve the time-to-completion of next generation web sites.
"Organizations are looking for a web platform that will support their needs for Web 2.0 capable communications and marketing programs into the future," said George Knox, CEO of Vamosa. "We are excited to partner with FatWire to help companies move to a leading platform that they can be confident will meet their current and future needs."
Kapow Technologies automates the migration of web content for Fortune 1000 companies with no coding required. Kapow is partnering with FatWire to make migrations to their Web Experience Management platform seamless.
"Ensuring data completeness is a critical part of effectively managing the entire Web Experience Management process," said John Yapaola, CEO of Kapow. "We are proud to be teaming with FatWire to help improve the online experience for companies and their customers by migrating massive amounts of web content at a fraction of the time and cost associated with traditional content migration methods."
This program is being offered for a limited time - it expires on September 30, 2009. 23.06.2009, Rita O’Brien, FatWire Software
