Austria´s Leading Companies: Wirtschaftsblatt and Pricewaterhousecooper raise Gentics on the winners
On Thursday, the 29th of Octobre 2009, Austria´s most important business award was given away during a ceremonial gala at the Wiener Hofburg.
Every year Austria´s Leading Companies (ALC) get honoured using an elaborate financial rating of Pricewaterhousecooper. Hans Pleininger from the Wirtschaftsblatt says about the price:
"Austria's Leading Companies are the marathon runners of the economy. ALC are those, who were excellent yesterday, are outstanding today, and still have a long breath for the future. They are the best of the best."
So the Gentics athletes were perfectly trained for the race and won silver in the sector "solid small businesses" (up to 10 mio. EUR turnover) in the viennese area.
For Austria in complete this meant the 9th place within 166 competitors. Considering that it was a fight with hard financial facts alone instead of soft skills like trendiness or performance - where Gentics always shows excellence anyway - this is a very pleasant result the company can be really proud of. 02.11.2009, Klaus-M.
