New software version: FirstSpirit 4.2R2 for future-ready content management and integration with IBM WebSphere and SAP NetWeaver portals

e-Spirit will present the latest version of its content management system, FirstSpirit 4.2R2, at Internet World 2010 between April 27-29 in London (at stand E500). e-Spirit's presentations at Internet World, a leading trade show for online and digital business, will demonstrate how organizations can improve their efficiency and competitiveness through process optimization with content management.

On day three of the event, CEO Jörn Bodemann will give a talk on the expectations users have for usability in software and other technologies and the implications of this for design and development teams. The presentation, "Usability Matters…Or Why on Earth Did They Design It That Way?”, will start at 2:30 pm (CET) on Thu. April 29 in the Content Management Theatre.

Synergies through Integration

At the e-Spirit stand, the main topics of focus will be the integration of different applications in a central, easy-to-use platform and the consolidation of multiple web content management solutions. As companies expand into international markets and acquire or merge businesses, they either inherit a mix of WCM solutions or they purchase additional solutions to meet their specific requirements, for example to expand existing structures for greater multi-lingual capability or for specific business processes. In such heterogeneous IT infrastructures, FirstSpirit can provide a single consolidated platform for all content, both structured and unstructured, that is spread around the company. This allows companies to efficiently re-use content, realize synergies and automate processes, thereby saving time and money. That's why at Internet World e-Spirit will be presenting specifically tailored web content management solutions for a complete range of possible requirements, along with solution scenarios for comprehensive integration of different local systems in a unified content management platform.

As a key element in the efficient integration of content, FirstSpirit enables an elegant integration with enterprise portals from IBM WebSphere and SAP NetWeaver, thereby making it possible for non-technical users to create portal content with the same look and feel as the website. In addition, Web 2.0 tools provide for simple implementation of social media projects with FirstSpirit. Live demonstrations at the e-Spirit stand will allow visitors to observe the high performance capabilities and user friendliness of the content management system first-hand.
