RealObjects continues to establish its WYSIWYG editor edit-on Pro as the leading cross-platform XHTML/XML content authoring tool.

Today RealObjects, international market leader in cross-platform web content authoring solutions, announced SCT Corporation, the leading provider of e-education technology solutions, as a new OEM customer. Using RealObjects' proven edit-on-Pro technology, SCT will now deliver advanced in-browser word processing capabilities as a key new component of their next major product release of the SCT Luminis Content Management Suite.

The integration of RealObjects' WYSIWYG XHTML/XML editor edit-on-Pro into the SCT Luminis Content Management Suite will empower non-technical users to become content contributors without any knowledge of HTML or XML. The editor provides word processor-like features within common web browsers, for both the Windows and Mac OS X platforms, in order to simplify and streamline the process of in-browser content authoring.

"With SCT as an OEM customer, RealObjects continues to demonstrate success in establishing edit-on Pro as the standard editing tool wherever cross-platform, in-browser editing capabilities are needed. Under this initiative, RealObjects has signed OEM agreements with other recognized software leaders. The goal is to provide software companies with an easy-to-integrate, well-supported and quick-to-deploy WYSIWYG XHTML/XML editor solution," says RealObjects Co-Founder and Managing Director Michael Jung.

"After looking at other vendors providing similar technology, we found RealObjects' solution best at meeting our requirements," said David Murray, vice president of SCT Luminis solutions.
