Six Offene Systeme GmbH, the leading provider of enterprise content management products based upon Open Source technology, presents its new release “SixCMS 6” at CeBIT in Hanover this year.

SixCMS 6 is still functional as an “Out-of-the-Box” solution, while becoming even more powerful and flexible at the same time. For example, the Enterprise version of SixCMS now fully supports Oracle 9i, in addition to the MySQL data base. An upgrade from an existing MySQL installation to an Oracle version, is not only possible, but also simple. New features include, extended image editing capabilities and the addition of an “event-trigger”, which makes the integration of SixCMS into the existing IT environment even easier. The personalization of content has also become extremely flexible, with the departure of the “profile containers.” Thanks to the addition of numerous new functions, the work for both content contributors and administrators, has been made even easier and more intuitive, significantly simplifying work processes and the time required for many tasks. In addition, SixCMS 6 increases performance in both the front- and back-end applications.

Six Offene Systeme GmbH will be presenting its new release in Hall 3, booth E 25. Joining them there, are the long-standing SIX partners: seitenblick interaktive medien gmbh, contAire GmbH, and opus 5 interaktive medien gmbh. SIX will also be presenting its new eGovernment solution in the Public Parc, Hall 11, booth E 40.
