ANP (the Dutch Press Agency) relies on picturesafe
ANP has leveraged myCONTENT from picturesafe to create a content syndication portal. This decision was made due to the characteristics of picturesafe’s philosophy of (TQT) combining the state-of-the-art Technology with the first class implementation Quality and the Time to market factor.
ANP’s content portal will offer exclusive services to all ANP customers in the Benelux countries where customers and subscribers can view, buy and download contents produced by ANP and its partners by visiting a single portal. This is known as “one stop shopping”.
In the first phase of the project all of ANP photos will be imported into myCONTENT. There the assets will be reviewed and enriched by the librarians and photo editors of the press agency. Shortly after all the processed photos will be published into Internet.
In the second phase the financial and delivery modules will be implemented. The whole financial tracking will then be exported to ANP’s auditing system using XML format and works in a bi-directional way.
Besides the syndication features, myCONTENT offers a complete suit of financial and marketing functions such as invoice creation, auditing information, download tracking, generating of marketing information such as “the best seller lists” , production workflow, user profiling and many other features.
