RedDot Solutions, (www.reddot.com), a leading provider of enterprise content management solutions, announced today that it has opened a new office in Sydney, Australia servicing Australia and New Zealand (www.reddotsolutions.com.au). Quick to implement and easy to use, RedDot’s Extended Content Management Suite (XCMS) offers companies affordable solutions for Internet and intranet content management, document management, business process workflow, digital asset management, collaboration, personalization and back-end integration.

"The opening of a new office in Asia/Pacific demonstrates how the ever-growing demand for a content management solution like RedDot reaches all corners of the globe," said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. "We needed to expand our operations to meet the growing demands of our partners and customers in this strategic region."

RedDot appointed Robert Holliday as managing director responsible for the entire Australia/New Zealand region. An Australian native, Holliday brings with him a wealth of international experience, having worked as an IT and business development specialist on three continents, including North America, Europe and Australia. Holliday joined RedDot’s U.S. headquarters in New York City in March 2001 as a senior project and partner development manager. Prior to RedDot, Holliday worked for three years as an IT consultant in London, U.K., for companies such as the London Underground.

Only RedDot’s physical presence is new in Australia. Since mid-2001, Holliday has been developing and overseeing the Australian business from New York City, signing local distribution partners such as Alphawest, Hummingbird, Indigo Pacific, Areeba, Citrus Internet, Atigon, Spherion and TechTronics.

“When I first started pursuing partners in Australia, I was overwhelmed by the response. I made a handful of phone calls and from there, the business just took off,” said Holliday. “I believe strongly that RedDot is the smartest, and most cost-effective enterprise content management solution on the market today.”

“First and foremost, we are opening an office in Sydney to better serve our existing Australian and New Zealand partners and customers. Their enthusiasm for RedDot is unrivalled. The quality of the products and service will grow the business itself,” added Holliday.

RedDot’s blue-chip customers from across the continent include Red Cross Australia, ING Australia, Fosters, Unilever, Foxtel, CPA Australia, the Department of Industry and Resources, the Department of Planning and Infrastructure and local city councils.
