At this year’s eco Awards from the Association of the German Internet Economy e. V., the Cologne-based Content Management AG (CM-AG) won first prize in the category “Best productive online solution in the Internet”. The jury, which consisted of prominent representatives from Siemens, SAP and Microsoft, praised the sophistication of the CM4all WebsiteCreator in particular.

Ulrich Hoffmann, Manager for Hosting Solutions in the medium-sized business division at SAP, personally gave the eco Award to the Cologne-based CM-AG during an official ceremony at the CeBIT.

The eco Forum (eco Electronic Commerce Forum e. V.) is the central organisation for Internet business in Germany. The annual eco Award was granted by an independent jury consisting of top-level executives from the IT industry (Siemens, SAP, Microsoft), IT associations, the press as well as public institutions and university organisations.

Besides having the highest number of users of all submitted applications, CM4all WebsiteCreator impressed the jury primarily due to its practicality and the high degree of penetration into the target markets. In addition to southern and central Europe, the software has also been available in the United States since last year. CM4all WebsiteCreator is marketed by CM-AG’s OEM customers, prominent hosting and Internet providers in both Europe and the United States, such as 1&1 Internet AG and T-Online in Germany.Users can create and maintain a professional website using CM4all WebsiteCreator, which is accessed online using an Internet browser. In addition to numerous design templates and a WYSIWYG editor for editing online content, there are many useful extra features available, such as a Flash intro, photo album, guest book, news ticker, forum, online surveys, map and driving directions as well as the new online shop.
