Bang & Olufsen has launched a new section on their Web site, which enables about 400 Bang & Olufsen dealers world-wide to create their own Synkron.web sub-site.

As part of this new service to the dealers, Bang & Olufsen will control some of the content on the sub-sites, such as contact information and design, while the dealerships can create and maintain their own local content.

The dealer websites also include a news module and are integrated to a central Bang & Olufsen product database. Moreover, a facility shows the stores' location on a map and provides directions from the location you specify to the nearest store. That has achieved by using Microsoft's MapPoint technology.

You can see the solution on www.bang-olufsen.com
