Open Text™ Corporation (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC) and IXOS SOFTWARE AG (NASDAQ OTC: XOSYY, FWB: XOS) today announce that key Open Text and IXOS executives will detail strategic direction and technology roadmap plans at their European user conference, LinkUp Europe 2004, amid a record number of attendees who will have hands-on access to the full range of the companies’ Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. This is the first LinkUp Conference since the successful completion of Open Text’s tender offer for IXOS.

“Open Text and IXOS together are now the world's largest provider of ECM solutions and we are eager to begin sharing our strategic vision for the future of ECM with our customers,” said Tom Jenkins, CEO of Open Text.

Management teams representing both Open Text and IXOS will be on hand to jointly present details on the companies’ first fruit integrations, latest technology advances and upcoming additions to what is already the broadest ECM portfolio available today.

“Together we are well poised to leverage the growing ECM market,” said Robert Hoog, CEO of IXOS. “The combined strengths and market leadership of IXOS and Open Text enable us to meet the full spectrum of organizations’ ECM needs. This clear advantage continues to draw intense interest from customers and partners. We expect this to be the largest European event in either company’s history.”

The European LinkUp conferences, scheduled for April 26-29, bring together customers, partners, employees, press and industry analysts for keynotes, technical and business sessions, and hands-on demonstrations. Jenkins and Hoog will kick off the events in London and Munich with keynotes outlining Open Text’s and IXOS’ strategic direction and highlighting initiatives around compliance, collaboration and managing the exponential growth of business content.

The Paris event will feature strategy keynotes by Open Text President John Shackleton, and Simon Khosla, general manager of Sales Operations in EMEA and LA for IXOS Software.

Anik Ganguly, executive vice president of products at Open Text, and Hartmut Schaper, chief technology officer at IXOS will discuss how the Open Text family of products will evolve into the most comprehensive collaboration and content management solutions to address the full spectrum of content lifecycle management.

Specific dates for LinkUp Europe are April 26-27 in London, April 28 in Paris, and April 28-29 in Munich. For more information about keynote presentations, breakouts sessions and conference venues, visit: http://www.opentext.com/linkup.
