Verity Inc. (NASDAQ: VRTY), provider of enterprise software that enables organizations to maximize the return on their intellectual capital investment, today announced that Philip Morris International (PMI), an operating unit of Altria Group Inc. (NYSE: MO), has selected Verity® K2 Enterprise search and retrieval software for use in multiple languages. PMI, headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, is the world’s leading tobacco company outside of the United States.

“Verity is proud to be part of this important initiative, and we are confident that Verity K2 Enterprise software will help PMI maximize the value of its multinational intellectual capital,” said Hugo Sluimer, Verity’s senior vice president of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia-Pacific operations.
